What our students are saying…

To know and share these truths is the driving force of my life

The great teachings from the Word of God, so masterfully taught by LCU's professors, are my greatest joy. To know and share these truths with my brothers is the driving force of my life.

I now serve as Volunteer Chaplain at Arizona State Prison Complex in Kingman. This facility houses approximately 3500 inmates. We (the Holy Spirit and me) started a Bible study in the summer of 2011, with about 6 men. On Easter of 2013, I preached the Risen Christ to over 300 men, and many of them received Jesus as their Lord and Savior! Glory to God!

The effect this ministry has had upon our home church is powerful as well. My wife, Diane, serves right by my side in the prison. We have brought over 40 members of our church into the prison with us. We have water baptized 28 inmates. I am often asked by our church members, "When are we going back to the prison?" They tell me, "I could feel God's presence so strongly while we were there."

Thank you, LCU! Your dedication to the Word of God is transforming lives.

Jesus came to my rescue!

The devil tried to kill me recently in the hospital. My body was not responding to treatment. The doctors did all they could, but I could tell my body was dying. I was so weak I could not lift my head up off the bed. That night, I called out to Jesus — and I would not give up calling Him, using a promise from the Word of God. "I know You promised never to leave me or forsake me, but, Jesus, where are You? I've been praying and I haven't heard from You. Jesus, I need You!"

I called out for about ten minutes. Then I said, "Jesus, whether I live or die, my life is in Your hands." A little later, a vision of Jesus' face appeared right before me, drawn in white light. He was riding on a horse, also drawn in white light. Jesus came to my rescue! He fought the battle for me! I am a living testimony!

I have realized that the more you study the Word of God, the better equipped you are to face the trials and hardships of this life. The Word of God can be used against the enemy (the devil) and his associates and they will have to leave.

My doctorate from LCU opens doors

LCU helped make me a better Bible teacher and preacher. I learned a lot as I studied and prepared for the classes I taught as an LCU instructor. When I taught at Christ for the Nations, my doctorate from LCU was a huge benefit. As I travel the world and equip leaders, my doctorate continues to open doors. Thank you for your faithfulness.
